Mas del Mar's porch is very spatious (about 150 m2) and is ideal day and night during the summer (fresh because the sun is high) and the winter (warm because the sun is low).

What do people come to do to Mas del Mar other than swiming in the ocean or in our pool?

There are many reasons people come to Mas del Mar:
- Many play fuzzball or pool in our game room or simply relax in the beach (just 100m away) or in our pool
- Like the turtles (Streptopelia turtur) in the previous post many people come and get married in Mas del Mar or cellebrate in group special dates. The house is big enough to hold a large party but many adapt the house to their needs
- Nature as you can imagine is another reason to come
- Others come to do some sport: diving, windsurfing, kite surfing, parachutting, running, cycling
- The area around us has also a lot to offer and draws a lot of people here: Dalí museum, fine restaurants, roman and greek ruins, history, shopping etc
- but some people just come because it is a very special location and the interior design of the house is very nice

Some of our first guests...

Here we introduce some of the first guests we have had the privilege to host...

Deers have been recently introduced to the area and they often visit us. This picture was taken in the stretch of the Fluvia river next to Mas del Mar (about 100m from where we are). Deer often walk through the property and can be seen jumping next to the beach.

Wildlife is aboundand in Mas del Mar including various mammals (a genet lives next to the house), reptiles, amphibians (the pond next to us has a stable community of hylas and ridibundas) and birds. In fact, we are in the middle of one of the most important staging regions in Europe for the migration by millions of birds. The monogamous turtle (Streptopelia turtur) are often seen together inside tamarinds...

As you can see from these two aerial pictures:
a) we are very close to the beach in golfo de rosas (it is walking distance in just a couple of minutes since we are about 100 meters from the beach).
b) we are in the middle of nature
c) there are no buildings arround us

This is why so many guests come to visit us...

As the first picture for this blog we have chosen a view of Mas del Mar as seen from the north (from behind Fluvia river). There is a nice bike route that can take you to this place from Mas del Mar.
